Joanna Kennedy

Joanna Kennedy has been a partner in Collyer-Bristow since 1994 and Head of Litigation since 1996.

She specialises in commercial litigation with particular emphasis in construction and defamation disputes. In construction matters she acts in claims against contractors and in negligence claims against consultants. She also acts for companies of all sizes and individuals in a wide range of disputes.

She has been a CEDR accredited mediator for a number of years and has a wide range of experience. She also holds regular seminars on mediation and other forms of dispute resolution.

Joanna is a member of TeSCA, Holborn Law Society Litigation Panel and the Arbitration Club. She is heavily involved in the arts, being Vice-Chair of the Board of the Oxford Stage Company, a Trustee of the Arts Council Special Fund, Chair of the Board of the Central School of Ballet and a member of the Arts and Business Advisers Panel. She is also interested in sport, particularly football and tennis.
