Razi Mireskandari

Razi, who qualified as a solicitor in 1986, is a partner and head of civil litigation at Simons Muirhead and Burton solicitors.

He trained as a mediator with the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR).

His firm’s focus is on servicing clients’ needs; though media & entertainment (including defamation, publishing and broadcasting), property and employment are particular strengths (as recognised by directories such as Chambers and the Legal 500) he has been involved in a wide range of disputes ranging from foreign currency brokerage claims to property disputes.

Razi’s style is very relaxed but he works hard to maintain a momentum towards settlement.

Recent feedback includes:-

  • "Razi was very active. Understood parties well. Good rapport. Overall performance very good"
  • "On the day, he showed a warm, natural and informal style which suited the occasion and parties well and he was able to establish an easy rapport with them".
  • "Good interpersonal skills/rapport. Great determination to persuade parties to bridge final, relatively small gap. Good ideas/input between meetings and active role in meetings"

Razi was born in Tehran in 1957. He has lived in London since 1960. His main interests apart from his partner and 3 children are reading, sport and the cinema.
