Robert Sear

Robert Sear is a graduate in business law and a qualified solicitor since 1978. He has been a Dispute Resolution partner since 1984 and is currently a partner at Thring Townsend Lee & Pembertons.

His specialist areas are:

Commercial and corporate disputes – advising on contractual matters, sale of goods and services (including retention of title) the position of company directors and shareholders, including minority shareholders and general company law.

Insolvency – advising companies, directors, shareholders and insolvency practitioners on all forms of insolvency procedure including voluntary arrangements, administrations, receiverships and liquidations. International disputes – particularly with reference to the EU and US and all forms of jurisdictional disputes.

Alternative Dispute Resolution – a CEDR accredited mediator since 1998, he has acted as a mediator in many commercial and noncommercial disputes.
